1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MI Footy's services, programs, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

MI Footy is operated by Mind Ignition. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mind Ignition.

2 Services Description

MI Footy provides the following services:

  • Sunday Gains: Weekly coaching sessions for U13s and U15s
  • You vs You: Monday morning challenge sessions
  • Holiday Clinics: Seasonal high-intensity training programs
  • Elite 1:1 Coaching: Personalized mentorship sessions
  • Team Mentoring: Group workshops and training
  • Footy Parent IQ: Guidance for parents and guardians

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

3 Registration and Payment

To participate in our programs:

  • Complete all required registration forms accurately
  • Provide valid contact information for yourself or your child
  • For participants under 18, parent/guardian consent is required
  • Payment must be made in full prior to program commencement
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Refund Policy: Refunds may be considered in cases of injury or illness with medical documentation. No refunds for missed sessions. All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

4 Participant Requirements

All participants are expected to:

  • Attend sessions punctually and be prepared to participate
  • Wear appropriate sports attire and protective equipment
  • Bring adequate water and nutrition as needed
  • Respect coaches, staff, and fellow participants
  • Follow all safety instructions and guidelines
  • Maintain positive, inclusive behaviour towards others

Participants who repeatedly fail to meet these requirements may be asked to leave the program without refund.

5 Health and Safety

Medical Conditions: Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or allergies prior to participation. Failure to disclose may result in exclusion from activities and affect insurance coverage.

Injury: MI Footy is not liable for injuries sustained during participation. Participants participate at their own risk. We recommend participants have appropriate personal accident insurance.

Emergency Procedures: In case of medical emergency, staff will contact emergency services and provided emergency contacts immediately.

COVID-19: Participants must comply with all current health directives and may be required to stay home if unwell.

6 Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful environment. The following behaviours will not be tolerated:

  • Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind
  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Destructive behaviour toward facilities or equipment
  • Use of illegal substances or alcohol during sessions
  • Any behaviour that compromises safety or wellbeing

Violations may result in immediate removal from the program and potential legal action.

7 Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians of participants under 18 must:

  • Ensure timely arrival and pickup from sessions
  • Provide accurate emergency contact information
  • Inform staff of any changes to health or circumstances
  • Support positive behaviour and respect for coaches
  • Not interfere with coaching sessions unless invited
  • Promptly discuss any concerns directly with staff

8 Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and methodologies developed by MI Footy, including coaching drills, training programs, and educational materials, are protected intellectual property.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any MI Footy materials without prior written consent.

Participants consent to potential photography and video recording for promotional purposes. To opt out, notify us in writing.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MI Footy and Mind Ignition shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation
  • Loss of personal property during sessions
  • Actions or omissions of third parties

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MI Footy, Mind Ignition, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

11 Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend your access to services without notice
  • Refuse registration for any reason
  • Cancel programs if insufficient registrations are received

In the event of program cancellation by MI Footy, you will be entitled to a full refund.

12 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland.

13 Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify participants of significant changes via email or on our website.
